Paris in July, 2024 - A French dinner

Thank you to Emma @ Word and Peace for hosting this popular challenge. I usually try to do a French dinner if I have time. This year it coincided with the 65th birthday of my husband, Martin. It was a perfect time to invite a few friends for a French celebration.

Here is the 6 course menu de degustation that I made.

Dinner with nice friends so it turned out to be a lovely evening. I had to explain how the Paris in July challenge works and I think they were all impressed by our efforts. We had such a nice time, and I was busy preparing the food, so I totally forgot to take a photo of the crowd.

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday! Maybe next year I will try something like this.

It was a great way to celebrate his birthday. We are not always "at home" for this event but made it possible this year.

wow, congrats. Sounds so delicious. I haven't had a bouillabaisse for ages and ages. So much fun! Emma @ Words And Peace

Thank you Emma. It was good. Although, I am not sure the bouillabaisse was a very true recipe of the French version. But, it was very good.
